Establishment of MIQ by Bauval (50%) and the CB Group (50%)
Pooling their respective expertise, the two companies take on the endeavor of establishing a presence in the Quebec market as industrial mineral operators, with a particular emphasis on dolomite, high-purity limestone, and silica.

Initiation of production at MIQ's inaugural mining site
After the acquisition of a high-purity silica deposit in the Matane area (>98% SiO2), MIQ establishes itself to play a role in supplying the McInnis Cement plant located in Port-Daniel.
